hey y’all!
I’m Casey (Corrigan), a photographer based out of Los Angeles, California. I’ve had a camera in my hand as long as I can remember, whether it was a 35mm disposable at summer camp, my dad’s digital point and shoot in the back yard, or my first DSLR that I got during my senior year of high school, I’ve always been drawn to telling stories through photographs. My work most often centers around people and doing my best to capture their true selves, whether that is on a stage, in a portrait, hanging out, whatever. I just love photographing people.
Much of the work I make is on film, using a variety of 35mm and medium format cameras. When schedules allow, film will be my preferred medium. That being said, I still use digital cameras often and understand that sometimes a session or show needs to be turned around quicker than film can allow, turning around digital coverage in 24 to 48 hours, often times quicker, same-night delivery can be achieved, and film coverage can be turned around in five business days.
Outside of photography, I like to ride bikes, play hockey, go to concerts and festivals (okay, a camera may come along here), and hang out with my family (partner+a dachshund+a cat) and friends. A big fan of the Oxford comma (and parenthetical commentary).
