I met Jona this Spring at South by So What in Grand Prairie after his band, I Killed the Prom Queen, finished their set during perhaps one of the coldest sets I've ever shot. After getting my film processed, I found out the camera body I had shot it on was mis-focusing and the negatives were a loss. After sending over the digital files I had gotten, I asked Jona if he'd want to shoot some more portraits when they passed through Texas again. So when the Crowd Surf America Tour was announced I reached out to Jona and we set up some time to shoot at their Austin date. While I was down there, we decided to knock out a few more portraits of just him after the full band shoot near the venue (Mohawk). Check 'em out and let me know what y'all think.
